Site discussion

So hey guys, since this forum is relatively new, and only starting up. I guess we can all make an effort to get it as best as it can be. Suggestions and ideas can go here to help improve this site.
I'm guessing the coder is the site owner? It's not clear, there are only assistant admins, so maybe just make a usergroup called Owner, and go from there. The colour of the coder is extremely hard to defferentiate with the regular user colour so I would try change it to a different colour.
I'll try help as much as I can because I love getting little forums active and try to make them big.
So anyway, how about you guys give some suggestions too.

Well, I made a suggestion that the site should have something to keep people active. Like something that will give people more responsibilities, something that will make them to check the forum daily.

Honestly if you just get a lot of friends to join that will be good. If the site is active members will keep coming in.

If I were to make a suggestion, I would certainly say there should be a new feature that allows us to check posts easier, somewhat related to what DarkDemon.org has. And that would be different categories of posts that users can view, say "View New Posts", "View Your Posts", "View Active Topics" et cetera.

Actually, I'm a Coder ranked Administrator. So, I must do my Coder job by administrating this forum. Now you're Assistant Admin ranked Administrator, too. This means now you should give us an assist by administrating the forum Smile

And I understood that we don't need "Assistant Admins" group. Because the biggest permission they can have is only moderate all the forums, like Stickying, Locking, etc. There was no difference between Moderators & Assist. Admins. So I deleted it.

I'm really disappointed on what you've done recently. Let me tell you all my complains:
1- Horizon became admin because he knows how to control the admin panel and such. I believe there are many people who can do that, too. Which seem slightly unfair for other active members (For example, Towelie deserves staff than most of the members)
2- The layout is gay. Freakin' gay
3- The rankings should be more specified.

Make the site more balanced and not stupid like this, for fucks sake.

Horizon will be a great admin, he has already done a lot like make rank bars for us. There is a lot of behind the scene works going on right now. The theme is under major construction.

Anyone can moderate a forum, all you have to do is have common sense. However, considering your moaning because you simply don't have staff powers, and complaining about everything, I don't think you are fit for Rank Squad right now.

To be honest, from the way I've been acting recently... I didn't think this through, alright time to talk to you seriously. I think in the future you should add a V.I.P user group for those respected and popular members. Well since everyone wants different things to post on (using mini as an example) you should have sections for pivot (which you already do) maybe some for the more crafty crowd (photoshop paint ect.) and maybe ones for gaming like for discussing... Now, I know you won't want you front page crowded with all these topics... So make groups that people can join such as the gamers group or something like that. Basically it like the VIP people on wtfteam, only they can see what VIP people talk about in their own little chat. So just do the same with groups like stk makers, gamers, graphics ect. To put it more simply:

Ex: gamers group can see gamers topic just as only VIP on wtfteam can see VIP topics.

, my friend made a forum that I was head mod on and because of it bein inactive, he quit and put me incharge. Animation universe (the forum) is hanging in there but it doesn't help with staff not being there also. What I'm trying to say is that just like I'm not giving up on my forum, I won't give up on yours Smile
